Helle has slept badly and is a bit groggy this morning. We take the bus to Valletta at 8.30. This time a bus arrives almost immediately and in Valetta we walk straight to the grandmaster's palace, which opens at nine. The palace was the residence of the grandmaster of the Knights of St. John. Later it became the residence of the English governor and today the Maltese president.
