I am in a very small town in the north of Peru, east of the Andes Mountains. It took us three long days of travel by various modes of transport to get here. The border crossing had obviously not seen gringos in quite a while so we were stared at us quite a bit. We had to take a raft across a river, guided by 7 year olds, to properly be in Peru.
