I caught the short 1-hour flight to Yangon, Myanmar. After passing through customs one is required to exchange US$200 for 200 FEC's - Foreign Exchange Certificates. Basically it's the military government's way of getting hard currency, though most travelers opt to exchange less money and pay an extra US$5 as a 'present' to the person working the desk.
