We caught a bus to the Guatemalan border and were immediately accosted by people wanting to shuttle-bus us to someplace in Guatemala. Normal buses are definitely cheaper, but they don't run as frequently from the border, so we rounded up 7 other travelers and watched as the driver tried to cram 9 gringos - complete with backpacks, into a van.
