I was in Tioman Island in June after hearing much of it's merits such as it being one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world , the movie Bali Hai being shot here .
The day started early at 6.30 am where we had assembled to board the bus heading towards Mersing , a small town on the eastern seaboard of Peninsular Malaysia .
