I am up at 5:30 to get the matola early as I want to get to Blantyre in time to get a room at Doogles - having failed to reach them on the phone. As I walk up the road to the PTC Isaac comes hurrying up. He has seen me from his window and has come to say goodbye, which is nice.

When I get to PTC who do I find sitting in his flatbed truck but Joseph, the driver we met yesterday who said that he left for Blantyre at 05:00am. He says he's been waiting for me specially, I assume... More
