I decide that today is a good day to go and do a survey of the people passing through the park. This is a job that Gaynor has asked me to do, although I am not sure whether I relish sitting all day at the park gate asking people where they are going, and anyway, it occurs to me that it really should be done at first light and at dusk, which is when there is the most traffic.
