We leave the Perhentians and Jude behind and get a private bus to KL which is meant to be 5 hours but turns into 7!! As we come into KL you can see the Petronas and KL towers lit up which looks class. We stay right near Chinatown and the hostel (Pudu) turns out to be a winner. Has Cable TV, sofas (we've been looking for one for a couple of months now), and beer 24 hours!! We see in the papers there has been car bombs in Hat Yai, just where Jude has gone to and the coup...
