The Kurdis are the most numerous ethnic group in the world without having a proper state. They are over 20 million and they represent the most great case by law denied to the self-determination.
The Iraq Kurdistan, surrounded by four states, that don't certainly love it, it exists, with many doubts on the real border, only on the geographical papers. It doesn't have some political meaning.
They are strong from the military point of view having a guerilla composed from over 55000 peshmergas, that have fought with honor beside the troops Anglo-Americans.
