toast, and jam. Though the normal galley breakfast usually
starts at 8:00am, everything was pushed up a bit this morning due to the
Cape Point tour departing at 8:30am.
The bus tour around Cape Point today was scheduled to last from 8:30am to
4:00pm, and would be covering old ground for me: though I hadn't previously
made it as far as Cape Point, the drive out there through areas such as
Clifton and Simons Town would be a repeat of not only what I had done last

down later). Cape Point is often mistakenly referred to as the
southern-most point of Africa... it's actually the second southern-most
point, as there's another area not too far away which is technically further
south. It's still an interesting area to explore though, with the
funicular, the lookout, old and new lighthouses, plenty of birds, and (if
the weather is good),
