Well, with any luck, i need to go to the doctor tomorrow because my ear hasn't made much progress. the only way he's going to get me to not go is if i'm going to have serious, permanent damage though. i'm not missing my trip for anything but the direst of circumstances.

we met back up with wet willy, the cia agent, he was sitting in front of us, he's being brought back to be debriefed, take some time off, then go to venezula. he told us a lot of scary things, and wants me to write his book when he retires in a year. i don't know if he's crazy, or if some or all of what he's saying is true, but either way, it was a bit unnerving.
yesterday we met a lot of couples where a white woman hooked an island man, moved down to the island, and the island men all seemed very bitter. that's the risk of being a gigalo i suppose.
we also sailed and kayaked through the mangroves. mangroves are an amazing ecosystem. there's a lot to say about that but i have so much to do tomorrow... maybe i'll catch up tomorrow night if i get everything done but i suspect you won't here from me until europe... ear permitting, of course.
