Hey all,
I finally have time to write a mail from new zealand, and also I finally did enough things that are worth telling.
I arrived in auckland on the 28th, the backpacker(hostel for "metaylim") that I booked with my partner from LaMetayel was a bit outside the city, so we had to take a bus to the city.
The backpacker it self was very nice and comfortable.
The first day was spent on arrangments, talking to people, looking for a car, trying to open a bank account etc etc.
After 2 days we moved the ACB which is the largest backpacker in Aucland and all NZ, it is a huge facility with a lot of internet computers and around 10 floors filled with rooms.
This is the place to meet other travellers.
In the few days I had in auckland i travalled to the Sky tower which is really nice, it is the tallest building in auckland, not that special but it has a great view and glass floor where you can stand and see the entire city below you.
Also I visited the underwater world that has a huge aquarium with sharks and other huge fishes, it was nice, but not worth the money it cost.
Amazing place a while of looking for a car and understanding that me and my partner are not really getting along all alone, we met a few other people and decided to buy a big VAN,mainly because we really wanted to get out of auckland.
We found a toyota van from 91, very good condition and very chiep! 2800$ NZ, so we bought it 6 people, and 2 more lifters came with us.
We started going to the far north, where we pass by phaia, a city in the far north in NZ near the Bay of Islands, from there we moved to Kaitaia which is even more to the north.
There we slept in a HIT house, hit is an organization of chrisitans that love israelis and host them for free or 5$, this HIT house was really something special.
It is run by an old lady, who lives like in survivor movies, she gets her water from the RAIN!
