I am currently in Poland participating in the PEACE (People's Enthusiasm Acting for Cultural Education) project run by AIESEC SGH at the Warsaw School of Economics with support from the United Nations Development Programme. It is a 2 month internship in which I will be promoting Canadian Culture (along with others from around the world promoting their cultures) to secondary school students in villages and towns throughout the country.

One Week Left
Well, it looks like it's 7 days left until my flight to Warszawa, Polska. As the days approach, a sense of excitement is coming over me, as well as some nervousness because I still have a lot of packing and sorting to do as well as last minute arrangements. I am sure that I will be ready with a day or so to just relax and soak in the energy.
Today I was trying to make sure that my hosts in Poland understood about my Gluten Allergy (Alergia na gluten). And with the help of Ewelina on the Organizing Committee, we found some Polish websites like the Celiac Association in Poland which explain a Gluten-Free Diet or Dieta Bezglutenowa as they say in Polish. This was one big weight lifted off my shoulders (as well as for the OC I'm sure) since now I know that eating won't be as difficult or complicated as I thought it could be while I am in Poland.
By the way, if you noticed the picture on the Poland section of my website, I have a nice red and white scarf to not only represent Canada, but also match Polish colours as well. My grandmother knitted this scarf for me and I got it for Christmas (Дуже дякую Баба!).
That's it for now. Next time you hear from me, I will probably be in Warsaw!

In the Airport
Well, it's now February 4th (the day after I was supposed to fly out of Toronto) and I am waiting in the terminal for my flight. It really isn't as bad as it seems. My 10:30pm flight was delayed to 2:15am. As good responsible travelers, my parents got me here at 7:15pm which is more than the 3h ahead of time you are supposed to be for international flights. Needless to say, I was a bit surprised when I got to the ticket kiosk (I had to wait about 10min before someone was actually there) and find out that my flight was delayed by quite a bit.
For most
