It's been 5 years since this trip, so I am going to think back about where I went, and what types of cool adventures I experienced during this time. My primary motives for taking this trip was the following: I had never been out of North America and wanted to see more of the world. I had contacts across Europe, and thought it would be fun to visit them. Also, I was about to go to University (I had graduated High School) and figured that life as a student is always poor. So why not have gone on a trip before school and used up some money that I had since I would be poor when it came time for university anyway. The trip was a month long in total and I only spent a few days in most places.

it's very easy to do the rest, so I was able to learn it. The next day I was saying German numbers (because it was te only German that I knew) and I thought it sounded cool, but Paul told me to stop, because he said "How would you like it if I started just saying random numbers... 24... 83... 71, etc. I realized what I was doing and had a good laugh. I was only in Münster for the weekend, so it was only 2 days I believe, so Paul had to get back to the Army Base and his brother took me to the train station so I could make my way to Prague. I took a train to Berlin (and it was just after the Love Parade (big techno festival). There was signs for it all over the place, and I took a quick peek outside the train station, but didn't want to get lost or miss my train, so I stayed there (it was a short time). Somehow I got confused at the platform since the train didn't come to where I thought it would. A person told me that I had to get onto the train that was there... I asked the conductor guy and he said to just get on, and then after I was on (and the train was moving) he confirmed that it was the right train. Phew! Amost missed it! Anyways, it was quite a beautiful ride out to Prague, and got to talk to some interesting people on the train. Nothing really that sticks out in my memory, but I remember doing it.
Czech Republic - Praha (Prague), Prostejov, Brno, etc.
I arrive in the main station in Prague (Hlavni Nadrazi) and there was this crazy voice always talking on the intercom. It was amusing to me. I was supposed to be picked up by my cousin Dmitrij (or Dima as I called him), his brother Vadim, and mother Liuda. I guess somehow we didn't see each other, so I phoned his mobile and we eventually found each other. That was a bit of an adventure as well. We drove to Prostejov (where they lived) which was a few hours away and I stayed with them for about a week. In this time, I hung out with some of their friends.
