<br />Wednesday morning (Aswan still) was a 7.30 wakeup call and we headed back to Karnak again (where we were the night before for the sound and light show). This time we had a guide and of course there was much more to see in the day time. After that we went to the Temple of Aswan. Reading about all of the temples and tombs etc that I have seen you might be wondering if I ever get bored with them... HELL NO. Each on is completly different from the other. Built in different dynasties, by different rulers, for different purposes and with different designs thay all have something unique and special about them. I am incredibly impressed with our guides who have been more than knowledgeable.

We met the convoy at 3.30am and I slep most of the way there. Being there at 6.30 was a perfect time as it wasn't too hot and we were there just after sunrise. I was expecting a lot from Abu Simbel considering the 3am wakeup call and I wasn't disappointed. There is much ...
