Monday afternoon we arrived in Dahab. Dahab is on the Red Sea and our resort is 20 mins out of town. Thank Goodness Laurrie and Katie are doing the second week. We have four days of rest and relaxation after our hectic week last week and I think I would get a bit lonely if it weren't for the two of them! Apart frm Mel, most of my friends are male and I have so enjoyed the company of these two lovely girls who I feel like I have known for ages. We are constantly giggling and keeping the rest of the group entertained.

Tourism here after the recent bombings is very quiet so the resort is almost empty.

On Monday night we had dinner at the hotel and then caught a bus into town to have alook around. The town of Dhab is set along the shore of the red sea and absolutely magical. It has an almost Greek Islands feel to it and at night the fairy lights (yes, fairy lights mother) outside the shops and restaurants light up the foreshore like a great big colourful carnival. We took the evening to get our bearings so that if we wanted to come in by ourselves we wouldn't get lost.

Tuesday was a very relaxing day. We get to bfast every morning at 9.30 am as they stop serving at 10. Then it is pool time.

At midday I caught the shuttle into town and spent an hour or so talking on msn to mum. Up until then the thought of doing so hadn't ...
