The only exception was the accommodation we had there. So far we have stayed at basic and clean 3 star hotels. Our travel agent in Sydney had trouble with our booking in Weimar before we left and to make up for it she put us up in a 5 star hotel. We spent the afternoon walking around the town and had hot chocolates (mine was a chilli one and Mel's was a truffle one) at a Viennese coffee house. Yum!

Whilst I would not say I was 'buff' before I went away (in fact, I don't think I have ever been buff) I miss not going to the gym. I was frightened to get on to the treadmill incase whatever level of fitness I had managed to get myself into before I went away had vanished. It was a 4hr train ride to Berlin. The train travel bothers neither Mel or I. The trains are more than comfortable and with our endless supply of books, our travel journal writings, our IPOD and crazy girly conversations we are quite
