today i had possibly one of the best experiences of my life.

we spent the day in the Taurus (Toros) mountains, on the canyon that runs through the middle, white water rafting.
with a two year old however, it probably isnt the best idea, as every time the raft moves a little, he starts screaming and crying...but it was soo fun anyway. the guide liked us, so he took us out for like 4 hours instead of just 1 and 1/2, and he charged very little, with a meal included. we started off paddling upstream, which my now buffed up arms will prove, and then stopped to jump in a tiny water cave. the water must of been the coodest ive ever been in, and i thought my legs werent connected to my body.
after going down the rapid white waves, our guide took us for a detour, were we went to a mud bath, and scrub ourselves clean, followed by the most fun in my life.....a mud fight. anyone considering it, do. its the best fun you could ever possibly have.but be gentle...mud hurts!!!
we then washed ourselves clean in the mountain fresh water, and headed for a scrumpous meal along side the river.oh, and our 'shuttle' to the rafts, from our car,was the back of the ute. coming back it was the same, but out raft was on the back so we sat on that. so much fun...and legal.

i general i thing australians are more conservative people aswell. turks have all the water they could ever need, and more, so all the time, taps are runing, and waters being used everywhere. and they're filthy aswell. litter in the most gorgeous places. its a shame. the old lady we're living with just chucks lolly wrappers out the car window, and chucks her rubbish anywhere wherever we are, and everytime she does, i shudder. its disguisting. please promise me everyone, to think about your land, and natural environments, and protect we we've got.

also, a quick little add.....can someone please tell me whats going on, on 24 and Grey's Atomony....anyone.....Abi...(i know you've been watching..)....?!?!?!!?!

and yes tiahne, i have realised how good ive/we've got life in aussie. i mean, toilets are free and no darn squatters!!!! you dont realise how good toilets are till you aint got them...same goes for everything i suppose.
