So I'm leaving the day after tomorrow... But it's been raining ALL day today so it doesn't really feel that bad right now. I guess I'll be going from rain to COLD rain... Or snow?? I was out in the rain today - Susann and I ate lunch at Onno's (we're eating at all the favourite places for the last time) and then I went to get my hair cut and by the time we'd walked from home to Onno's we were soaking. Even with our rain jackets. And then I was freezing throughout the whole lunch until I got to the hairdresser. I just wonder exactly how cold I'll be when it's 20 degrees colder. But I have a feeling that when I've been home for 2 days it'll feel like I've never been away.
From rain to ??

I've been ready to leave here for a few weeks now - although I've been trying to enjoy my last time. It's a lovely place, but it's just that it's a bit too small for me. I begin seeing the same people all the time, we go to the same places at night, you start acting in the same patterns... I feel it's time to go. At the same time I know I'm gonna miss this place. The surfing, the walks on the beach, all the good-looking surfers (hehe), all the Norgies I've gotten to know pretty well, Playa Encuentro, el sol, las palmas. It's been a great three months, and although there have been a few problems (or a lot) with all our studies I absolutely don't regret coming here. I've met so many beautiful, nice, cool people, I've improved my Spanish a lot, I've spent three months in the sun - what is there to regret?? I probably would've learned more Spanish in a "real" university, but what the hell - I think I had a better time here than I would've had in a "real" university...
This weekend there was a surf competition at Encuentro and we went and checked it out for a few hours. It was good fun, a great bunch of people at little Encuentro and a lot of surfing. It was really good in the morning but as the time came towards 12 o'clock it went really small and quite boring. Too bad for the surfers. But they certainly did their best. And of course there was a good party in the evening. Speaking of parties we're having our good-bye party tonight. Susann, Maren (the girl with the hurt knee) and I are the first ones to leave and we've already started to say good-bye to people. I hate good-byes and really not looking forward to Friday morning. Anki, a Belgian girl who's spent a few months here, just came to say adios. She's leaving tonight.
Well, I guess that's it. I haven't figured out how to answer to the comments... But thanks for writing for those of you that have. There was someone who wanted to come in contact with the school. www.studyaway.no
It's a Norwegian school, so understanding Norwegian is a big plus... And to be quite honest I wouldn't recommend this program. At least not till they've organized it and gotten their shit together. They're cutting out the Spanish program next term, so hopefully it'll be a lot better when it comes up again.
Keep travelling, smiling and living!
