Thailand 2005: Day Ten

After last night’s revelation, I take a quiet day in Sammakorn. Yet another great ramen lunch, and then back to Martin’s for a chilled afternoon indoors. Lois Ann calls, but she’s been taken ill - our trip to see a Muay Thai fight is sadly going to have to wait another year.
I take a nap in the afternoon, all this excitement must be too much for me. I catch up on some reading, surf the net for a while, and then it’s time for dinner before I know it. We cycle up to another restaurant by the lake, where I sample the wild boar red curry, and stuff myself silly once again.
Then all of a sudden we’re back at Martin’s, and I realise I’ve done nothing much except eat today. But in a few short months time, all being well, I will have a niece or nephew. So one supposedly “wasted” day of holiday (when I actually had a terrifically relaxing time, just nothing much to write about) doesn’t seem all that big a deal.
