Introduction
A short walk in the surroundings of Ronda where many Ronda people have their second house. We see a mix of agriculture and free time life style where people find the countryside a place to escape from the routine.
Description
We start from the district of Padre Jesus, next to the Guadalevin. This was the old Jewish quarter. The fountain of the Ocho Caflos (eight springs) and the church of Padre Jesús mark the start of Real street. We leave behind the patio of Santa Ana around which many films have been shot. Of the tracks which are free to walk we take the middle one which rises steeply towards the houses on the outskirts of, the San Francisco area. To this point we have walked less than 2Km. (optional departure point 1).
We take the public right of way that joins San Francisco street on the left, which we follow up to the convent of San Francisco. Here the Catholic Kings camped out before they attacked the city. The door of the convent, from the period of Queen Isabel, is outstanding.
We leave the convent, now a school, behind on the right and follow the asphalt road into the countryside. The road becomes a track around Km. 3 and we see many
