I've added some photos of our final day together from the Harbour dinner cruise and the farewell at the Bar.
I wanted to share with you the Farewell Poem written by Adam Van Lohuizen from the Canada The Rockies tour.... (it's also the poem that inspired the drinking contest on the final night... calling us soft!!!! hehe!!)
"Tonight brings the end of our contiki trip
Our time as a group is now over, that's it
Remember Dale going head first out a shopping trolley, hitting his chin
Or all of the sheep shaggers calling eskies 'chilli bins'
Little Craig was rarely seen without a beer in his hand
One night this problem almost saw him go home in a divvy van
Tanya and Sharon, both enjoyed their tequila shots
But required male bodies to lick the salt off
Then there was Jade, my birthday bud
And the room party that night, which cost us all 10 bucks
Kerrie who took the piss out of George on the first day
And after a couple too many, her room mate Tanya told Dazza he was gay
Lisa and Natalie, they're both seasoned travellers
But were often too soft to hit the town with us
Our dutch mate Arnie, quoting aussie slang
And everyone in Jasper, who got up and sang
The boys having a few beers on the boat
and Chris, Tegan and Steve our 2 beautiful couples
The two Head brothers always causing trouble
The Chad was the man who drove our bus
Where ever we went, we eventually made it, but now the gearbox is stuffed
We have our fantastic tour manager, his name is Darren
Between the both of us, we left that beer tower barren
I can't fit everyone in, as I've run out of rhymes
We now all part ways, keep in contact, don't say goodbye "
