There were a few really sick people on the bus this morning after a big finish in Paris... 5 people were late for the bus. Two of the guys ended up being 30 min late - they were lucky the bus waited....

There were a few really sick people on the bus this morning after a big finish in Paris... 5 people were late for the bus. Two of the guys ended up being 30 min late - they were lucky the bus waited....
We stopped on the way and bought some stuff for a picnic. Art & I got some amazing bread, cheese, ham and strawberries and were pretty much the only ones who bought wine, but hey, what's a picnic without wine?! We had lunch in the grounds of this amazing Chateau.
We did coach introductions today and it turns out we have several talented people. One girl is signed by Sony and ones a dancer who has also guest stared on Neighbours.
We headed into Bordeaux. There is 285,000 acres of happy making vineyards and it's the biggest wine producing region in the world producing a quater of all wine produced in the world.
We made it to the hotel and went on a bit of a walking tour. Bordeaux is such a pretty city but was fairly quiet. We ended up at an Irish Pub with a bottle of wine with Art - my faithful drinking partner!
The following day we got our new
day song which turned out to be 'Walking on Sunshine' which will be alright.
Noticed that the cars are all tiny around here - mostly because fuel is 1.36 euros per litre.
We made a stop at Carcassane which is a fortified city which is over 2,000 years of French history. It's a medieval city with a 3km wall around it. It's amazing, I knew they said it was fortified but I didn't realise that once you walked into the 'castle' the whole city was contained within the walls. Inside we saw a man walking around with a massive Owl. We had lunch there and a smidge of wine!
Crossed the boarder and headed into Spain. Spain has 40 million people and is surrounded by the Pyrenees Mountains as they separate Spain
