There were a few really sick people on the bus this morning after a big finish in Paris... 5 people were late for the bus. Two of the guys ended up being 30 min late - they were lucky the bus waited....

We made it into Barcelona and the first thing you notice is that there are barely any houses, everyone lives in apartment blocks. We all got changed and headed out. Our first stop was the first beach bar we came across... on the way there were all these naked men showering!!! We ordered jugs of sangria and sat on banana chairs in the sun.
We then headed to a
bar for a few shots. There was a lot of pole dancing by our group - in particular the 'slappers' who were unstoppable and in their element.
Managed to get home by about 4.30am!
The following day we took a tour of the city. The 1992 Olympics were held here in Barcelona and we saw the dive pool which made them look like they were diving off the cliffs... Kylie Minogue's 'Slow' song was also filmed there.
We saw Sagrada Familia which was created by Antonio Gaudi. It remains unfinished but due to increase funding they've bought completion date from 2040 to 2025. There are designers and computer programs all around the world trying to complete it in the same fashion it was started in but he left no plans behind, they were all in his head. The section that has been completed by the new architects isn't that great in my opinion!!
There is an amazing mix of old, new and ultra modern architecture in Barcelona.
Did a little shopping, met Juan who sold peals and leather. He was sooo funny he would say after telling us the prices of things that 'it is unbelievable... why? because I can not believe it' as he
tapped people on the forehead!! he had a bunch of funny lines and was very entertaining.
We then visited a place where many people were executed. They just used to stand them up against the walls and shoot them with machine guns... you can still see the damage the bullets did to the walls...
We went and had a traditional meal of Tapers - we got about 9 bowls between the 7 of us and some wine, it was excellent!!!
Then it was time to get changed and head out for a five course meal, sangria (although many were weary after the headache they got from drinking it the night before!!) and some Flamingo dancing. The show was excellent with good dancing and singing and it was just an all around good show, although it was very long. I was really tired, most people slept earlier in the afternoon. On the bus home the girls started bus karaoke and it was all down hill from there!!!
