I love the people, beautiful scenery, culture, foods and ambiance of Germany and Bavaria. I arrived at 4PM, checked all me e-mail at the hotel business center, then retired to a hotel in Mannheim. I watched the sunset over the Bier Garten' and Coleman Barracks (made famous during WWII)I drove through Worms where Martin Luther wrote his 13 Thesis that started the Protestant Church. In a virtual dichotomy from this wonderful moment in history, I also drove past Dochaw where you could feel the evil and tortured souls. It was here that a large portion of the six mllion Jews who were put into ovens, gas chambers, and tortured to death at the hand of the 3rd Reitch were buried. She stopped and jumped out of the car with large tears rolling down her wrinkled face. She said, "Danka Shune, Danka Shune." I told her she was welcome and she hugged me from behind as I rolled back to the hotel. It made my whole day to help someone else. Have we not learned anything from the Good Samaritan?
