immediately shoved out of the way by people behind us. They picked up their luggage and set them right in front of us, then gave us a dirty look for being in their way. This was repeated many times and we were actually farther behind then where we began. With less than an hour to get on my airplane I began to get concerned. Just then a hand reached around from behind me and said, "Are you with DynCorp?" "Yes," I returned slowly turning around in the sea of people to see whom I was addressing. Paul looked at him, then recognized his face. "Give me your ticket and passport," he said. I looked at Paul and he shook his head yes to me with a smile on his face. I complied, and he quickly disappeared into the crowd. I was more than nervous giving my passport to a total stranger, but Paul seemed confident. Minutes later he returned, grabbed my luggage and motioned for us to follow. We went around the crowd to two female nurses waiting for us by the customs door. They opened the door, tagged my luggage, and we were through security in seconds. "How did you pull that off," I asked the stranger. "I work for Brown & Root - your competition, but after all, we are both Americans, so I told the medical staff here you needed help, and they did the rest." "Wow, thanks man," I replied. He smiled and began walking away before saying, "I might get fired for helping DynCorp, the enemy, but it was worth it - you're an OK guy." He left as quickly as he had come and I really wondered if he was an angel sent to help. I guess I'll never know for sure.
We three Kings of Bosnia Are: The flight from Skop Je was truly an International Flight, although short. On board were Serbs, Albanians, Swiss, Australian, Italian, and believe it or not a couple from Louisiana. After arriving in Zurich, they led me to a large lounge for medical situations (now I wanted to kiss the guy from Brown & Root), and I slept for two wonderful hours. Due to the crazy politics
