here in the way they treat each other. Once back in Skop Je, I met with a few more managers about my assessment and I showed them a few things that other sites were doing that worked well. That night I, one of our UN customers, and a few DynCorp staff, ate oriental food in a tremendous café-type restaurant down a side street. Over dinner we talked about business, family and our travels around the world. We were almost kicked out at one point when we began talking about the Pink Panther & Naked Gun Movie Series and were laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair. It was a perfect evening.
Enemy Angel from the good old USA: We woke at 4 AM after two hours sleep, I checked my e-mails at the hotel Office and I had 12 since I checked it just 8 hours before. A few of them were from the boys who were getting ready to go back to school. It seemed odd that after all the destruction I had seen in the last few days, that on the other side of the planet, youths went to school, got 3 square meals a day, and lived in veritable mansions. We headed for the airport and as we got close to the entrance, a man stopped his car literally in the middle of the street in front of the airport. He slowly opened his door and began to slowly get luggage out and let his passengers out who were fixing their hair and hats without any regard for anyone behind them. Paul drove around them only to be stopped by other cars doing the same thing. Somehow he navigated through a sea of people in the parking lot and we parked as close as we could. It is no wonder that there is so much hatred in this country since they don't seem to have any rules to live by (except "look out for number one.") We entered the airport and what I saw was pure insanity. Hundreds of people were pushing and shoving and you could feel the tension from the Serbs, Albanians, and other Balkan countries all trying to shove others out of the way.
