meetings went fine, it was the trip that was hilarious. After taking a subway to Waterloo we had to buy train tickets to Aldershot. I asked my friend to buy the tickets in the station above while I waited by the tracks because the station was not wheelchair accessible. Then I realized, my friend had my passport, money, credit cards, ID and train tickets. One of the attendants joked if she did not return, he was going to arrest me for vagrancy. I sat there for almost an hour while my poor friend had to traverse the entire six stories of the station. There were 12 subway tracks and 18 train tracks so finding the right place to buy the tickets and returning to me was like finding a needle in a haystack. But somehow she did it. The meetings were fine, but not nearly as exciting as the trip. On Thursday visited Lady Di's Memorial, the Queen Mother Memorial, Albert Opera Hall, Kensington Palace & Park, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. We finished the day by going to Madame Tussaud's London Wax Museum filled with wax likenesses of stars, politicians, royalty, dignitaries, super-hero's and of course the Jack the Ripper/Serial Killer horror chamber (truly spooky with wax and live models that jumped out at you). On Friday we were so tired we only went to Harrods. We shopped in all six floors and brought home treasures and memories of the trip. On Saturday we both flew to our respective countries and homes for a 12 hour nap. Now I need a vacation to recover from my vacation!



Angels ride trains - Although the sites were fantastic, the most inspiring part of the trip were the trains. Yes, I said the trains were inspiring. Let me explain. In order to keep up the grueling pace above, we took trains to virtually every region of London. In all we rode over forty trains. Of course we found ourselves on the wrong train several times (we weren�t the only ones). We even went to Aldershot, in Southern England via ...
