Riding Life - I was raised on the back of a horse and on top of a motorcycle. The first cycle I bought was a Honda Mini-Bike (50CC) at age nine. I gradually moved up in CC's as I grew older. By the time I was in the service, I had a Kawasaki 1000. Then my injury happened and I thought my cycle days were over. However, someone told me about Trikes. I bought one a few years ago to make sure I could handle it - I loved it! Therefore, yesterday, I bought a new Honda 1800 CC Goldwing Trike. It is the biggest cycle on the road and I love it so much I drove it home through the rain and forty degree weather all the way from East Texas to my home last night. Sonic Blast or Sonic Boom - The most memorable moment of my trip to Houston happened at a Sonic Drive In at almost midnight. I pulled up and parked as twenty gang-banger looking guys watched me pull up on my new Honda Gold Wing. They eyed me closely and then they looked at each other and said something I couldn't hear. I removed my helmet and suddenly they all moved very quickly toward me. The cycle was already off so there was no time to back out and get away so I said a little prayer for protection. They surrounded me and one of them lunged forward and took my hand saying, "wow, great bike, we love the lights, the color. But what we noticed first was the wheel chair on the back. We just wanted to meet you." I breathed a sigh of relief and we talked for half an hour. I encouraged them and told them about my injury and that we could make our dreams and goals reality. They then told me all about their dreams and goals - in short - we became buds. I learned not to judge people by their appearance. I was also glad that my adventure was a Sonic-Blast and not a
