Off to a Great Start - I arrived back in Ft. Worth at 4PM from Houston, answered e-mails for two hours, and then arranged for a surprise for Wanice. I told her to pack an overnight bag and took her with me to the Hyatt-Regency at DFW airport. We ate at IL Nonno's Italian Restaurant. It was delightful and our waiter sang classics from Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera (which meant I cried all through the meal). The 4-course meal consisted of pasta, sauces, chicken, shrimp, and of course Tera-Ma-Su. I spent an hour in downtown gazing at the San Francisco Bay Bridge and the huge Pacific that stood between Japan and me. The Pacific is like the chasm between me and God caused by sin. Just like the aircraft that bridged the gap to Japan, Christ bridges the gap between God and me. I flew west 11 hours from SF at 11AM Sat. and arrived ...
