Best New Year’s Eve we've ever had because it was spent with our families. After the events of the past week, we have much to reflect on and much to hold sacred and close to our hearts. A new year, a new path.. sometimes life leads us in a direction that we never thought we would go.

Kate and I have both been having trouble sleeping. Bad dreams and big plans. Hence, we are up at 6:30am on New Year's Day (don't know when the last time that happened) and are planning our next trip. Don't fall over in shock and horror. This trip will be across America to speak to schools about Sri Lanka and the tidal wave in order to raise money. Lots of ideas (re: sponsorship, logistics, setting up a charity, publicity, etc.) so we are starting to think about how to do this. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I will be home tomorrow (Sunday) around 1pm. If anyone wants to come by, that would be fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year - one that is filled with hope and peace and perspective…
