My second day was much better than the first, woke up at 830 (went to
be at 9...5 our time) so i slept long and well. Went down got a
very minimal continental breakfast that consisted of cereal, bread
and tea. Can't expect much more, it's only £8 a night.

My second day was much better than the first, woke up at 830 (went to
be at 9...5 our time) so i slept long and well. Went down got a
very minimal continental breakfast that consisted of cereal, bread

Went into London, train was a breeze with some advice from my
friend Liam (stays at the hostel, nice guy). The journey in London
was ridiculously good and conveniant, turns out everything is much
closer than i thought (or i was in a particularly energized mood).
I coincidentally met up with the changing of the gaurd, which was
actually the most uninteresting part of the whole...that should
sort of set the tone for how well it went.



The day starts off with an uneventful ride on the underground to
Green Park. From there i closed my eyes and spun around and decided
where to walk from there, i hadn't looked at a map yet so i figured
it just explore this one street. The street conveniantly turned out
to be piccadilly, so i had no other choice but to walk
straight into piccadilly circus, which was fine by me. Until i realized that
it's just a long street with a bunch of shops and fancy
advertising. So once again, i looked and tried to fine the most
interesting landmark i could see...which wasn't difficult. I
spotted a tall tower with a statue in the distance, what seemed to
be about 2 km away. So i started walking down a street that would
lead me to the tower. It was nicely laid out, with trees bordering
the street and statues of birds and kings to divide the traffic.
Suddenly there's music and gaurds with
funny hats coming out of a funny looking building with a fancy
gate, and i think to myself "damn, the british celebrate
everything". I follow them, as anyone would, and they lead me to
royal looking building and a i realize..."these ...
