So where did I leave you? Ah that's right, on the way to the magical city of Salzburg. I left Vienna with dreams of rolling hills, small children skipping merrily around fountains, and the sweet, crisp notes that we have all grown so fond of - "The hills are alive with the sound of music..."
Boring Belgium and my whereabouts for the past two weeks...

so beautifully painted, and decorated so nicely that you really felt like you were in some part of the spiritual world. At night all of the temple was illuminated with tea candles, which cast a brilliant golden glow across the room. I was fortunate enough to spend four nights there, though it certainly wasn't enough!!
Whilst I was there the Janmastami celebrations and Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa Puja were taking place. They are two of the biggest celebrations in our calender, so the mood at the farm was especially sweet. Not to mention the bhajans and kirtanas in the temple room. Just indescribable!!! The transcendental sound vibrations really squeezed every last drop of devotion out of you - they were the most powerful experiences, so much Bhakti! The deities at the temple were so special, the whole community really depended on the deities, they were always kept at the centre of the society, the way that every community should be. They were dressed so beautifully, I dont think I have ever seen anything as beautiful as them in my life.
Four days passed much to quickly and since leaving Hungary I havent been quite the same. I am in Belgium now, although I cant enjoy it at all. I am just longing after India and Hungary!!! Belgium is a dirty place, and
Have you ever seen anything so beautiful in your entire life?
I can have no enjoyment here without the association of devotees. The people here really are nothing, they are doing nothing. I want to go back home to the spiritual world, but at the moment it seems that Belgium represents everything that I find unattractive.
Oh it seems that I have given Belgium a bad wrap, its not so much the country itself, but after experiencing the true ecstacy of devotion nothing in this material world could ever EVER compare.
Only 5 weeks until India.... counting down now. Please Krsna.
