all got busy lifes already. We don't need too many heavy commitments to stress out on.

And that is what we are all about, the vision to keep up with distant friends. The contacts...people we've met in our motorcycle travels...the great experiences we reminisce about, and the thoughts of planning to meet up again for more great motorcycle adventures again!

For many of the newest members, we look forward to continue to build a data base of motorcycle travelers who have found the special pleasure of going that extra mile to meet up with another enthusiast and share some stories and experiences over dinner, or an overnight stay.

In all of our travels, the one thing that has always impressed us the most, is how almost all motorcyclists wave at each other every time they meet as they pass in opposite directions!

Why do motorcyclists wave to one another?

"Clearly there is a common bond related to the motorcycle, the road and the moment!"

It is actually more like a salute. A way of approving to the other party that what they are doing is really cool, and good for them for also having found a pastime that is so much fun.

Where else can you find hundreds of thousands of people all with the same common theme…meet up at some town or campground and make a big rally out of it?

What other genre can you see a group of people all connect for a group ride?

That bond is one of the strongest common factors between any groups of people that we can think of. It doesn't matter if they are from extremely different backgrounds, occupations or incomes.

It is always easier to sit back and do nothing, or go out for a ride by oneself, but after the ride is over, most would agree that it could have been more fun to experience it with others.

Why settle for less when you can have more?

So don’t procrastinate and don’t be a deadbeat!

Join the LRA!

Take the extra time to hook up with another motorcylist, or group for a ride or a meet sometime in the near future.

You’ll be glad you did!

Find a more fulfilling experience, by connecting with other bikers.

That experience will truly last forever!

The Long Riders Association...building a bridge...connecting All Riders and All Makes of Motorcycles. Our hope is to bring everyone together for the same common cause of motorcycling and travel. That's right...no matter what you ride!

For the Long Riders Association, the road never ends!

Sincerely,

Edward Unruh
