About Odessa Ukraine.

At first, it is with great pleasure that I am posting this article on this
travel related website. My name is Razer, and Im the founder of Odessa Guide
Publications http://www.odessaGuide.com
Odessa Ukraine.

In 2002, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit and stay in Odessa Ukraine for
two years with my wife, who is originally from Odessa Ukraine. Odessa is a
wonderful city with fantastic colours and friendly people always anxious to
learn and meet foreign people.

With the Orange Revolution which went very peacefully, it has put Ukraine in the
centre of attention in Europe and also across the world that it is possible to
have a revolution and change governments peacefully.

For many years I had been disappointed about Ukraine in general because of its
pre-Soviet mentality meaning that most people were afraid to speak to
foreigners. But as Ukraine remains open to the world and is now more accessible,
I believe the people are taking an interest in the country and most Ukrainians
realize that to survive in a fast paced society and world economy, they have no
choice but to be more outgoing and communicative with people.

Odessa has however remained different from the rest of Ukraine. It is more
outgoing, the streets are filled with friendly and beautiful women, life is full
of fun, the climate is sunny and bright most of the time, and like any city, the
rich are getting richer and the middle class and the not so privileged people as
always, have a hard life in a growing democracy.

I predict that my son who is now 2 years old, by the time is 20 years old
Ukraine will likely join the European Union.
