Kandariya Temple
The Kandariya Shaivite Temple, the largest and architecturally the most perfect of the Khajuraho collection, was built between 1025 and 1050 at the height of the Chandela art form. It features a total of 872 high relief statues of which 646 disposed in three bands on the outside.
Immediately below, Shiva's symbolic male Linga resting on the female Yoni in the temple's inner sanctum and an example of the triple outside frieze. Further below, four examples of erotic sculptures gracing this temple.

The Devi Jagadamba Temple stands on the same platform as the Kandariya Temple but is a little older and of simpler design. It was originally dedicated to Vishnu (Vaishnavist), but later became a Parvati temple (Shaivite). Below, four Tantric scenes.
Vishvanath
Finally, the Vishnavath Temple and adjoining Nandi Temple were built in 1002 for the cult of Shiva whose Linga shown below adorns the inner sanctum at the base of the main sikhara.
