One Minute of Fame

Over the years, I have been sending out either group emails or, once I found this blog, the stories via the blog. I have shared my moments with you all, be it good or be it bad. My friends quote my lines, even today, I listened to a voice mail stating "And I told that prickshaw driver to fuck off" !!! Oh they were the days, back in India, but I am getting off topic here.
Today, I write to you all to let you know, a couple of weeks ago, a guy wrote to me asking me a question about my blog. Nothing unusual. I get loads of abuse, and I also get some good mails as well. I replied to him and never thought anymore of it. A week passed by, and then he emailed me back, and he told me he was a reporter for one of the classiest papers in the UK. The Guardian. He was putting an article together and wanted to quote my blog. I gave him the info and never thought anymore of it. On Thursday, he wrote to me, telling me that if it makes the cut, it will be in Saturdays paper.
This morning, I awoke and ran like a crackhead to his dealer, just to get a paper, hoping that I had made it. Straight to the back of the travel section, and there it was. I am in the newspaper. I am in the fucking newspaper. I don't think you heard me I'M IN THE FUCKING NEWSPAPER.
So that's my first minute of fame out of the fifteen that Andy Warhol promised me. Now how the fuck do I go about getting the other fourteen..
