Once at the airport, as we were flying Gulf Air, the plane was full of Muslim Extremists. There were a few Westeners, and listening to their accents, they were all English.

We changed planes at Muscat. It was very arid, in fact similar to the countryside of Iran. And not long after, we were off, and 7 hours later, we landed at Heathrow

Once we had our bags, we jumped on the tube. And then it happened. The announcement came over, which meant we were back and I was hating it. "This train is terminating at Northfields. All Change Please" How fucking typically British. We changed, and the tube still went slow. We jumped out at Hammersmith as we had to change to another line, and as we were now on the District line, it was even slower !!! What the fuck was I doing back. Three hours later, we arrived in Battersea at Lucy's friends place. Abi, was decent enough to take two losers off the street and into her home !!! Two glasses of wine, and I died.

In the morning, it was pissing down with rain. What the fuck was I doing here. Where we had been was hot, so I went to New Oxford Street, as I had a meeting with a guy. Afterwards, I walked around the West End. Around a year ago, I did a similar walk, and it felt like it was only yesterday that I was there. After a while, I met up with Lucy. The weather had changed again, and now the sun was out. I was kind of enjoying myself, until I went to Sainsburys. We went food shopping for the first time in a year and it made me realise that I was back in society. This depressed me. In fact, after cooking a meal, I was even worse. The food was no match to what we had been eating for the last 9 months. So bland. Lucy used to think I was such a good cook, but now, after a year away, I realise that I am shit !!!

Another meeting was had on Wednesday. I had to meet the agency and sign my new contract. And the day was horrible again. And again I thought, why the fuck have I come back. After a nice lunch, I went for another walk around the West End. But I am stuck in the middle. I don't want to be here and I do. It is great to be back, but do I actually belong !!!

As the first week rolled by, Lucy looked at loads of flats, but we found nothing that actually suited us. Previously, we had lived in Fulham for four years, and luckily for us, the rent had never been raised. We have a budget, but I don't think I can actually find anything nice with the money we have.

As the week rolled on, the weather changed, and it was kind of nice being back, but as it is now Sunday, and tomorrow is the firat day of work, I am now feeling really depressed. Still, it could be worse, I could have hepatitis and be stuck in an Indian hospital !!!
