we went back to India. Bodhgaya. For the place that is the home of Buddhism, what a shithole !!! Back to Varanasi, then we left the Seppoes, and arrived at Khajaraho, home of the Kama Sutra temples. They were very interesting. We met back up with the Seppoes at Agra, as they needed to see the Taj, then we went to Rajasthan. Home of loads of forts. Jodhpur, was great, especially the fort, Jaisalmer was old with some nice Jain temples. Bikaner was a shithole and Jaipur was busy, but going to see Amber Fort made up for it. Udaipur, home of Octopussy was very relaxing, and we also saw Ranakpur, where there were some really old marble Jain temples, before we went to what we consider a shithole, Ahmadabad, but only briefly, as we were on our way to Diu, where there are loads of old Portuguese artefacts. We went back to Ahmadabad, and then celebrated my 40th on the train to Mumbai. But we had a night train to catch, and this was to Aurangabad as there was a Taj copy, a fort and some caves we wanted to see. Pune wasn't going to be fun, and neither was the part of Goa that we experienced. From here, we made our way to Hampi, and the temples didn't disappoint, but I became sick, and back in Goa, I ended up in hospital and luckily for Lucy, I came out on her birthday.

Because of this, we jetted back to Sydney, where my Mother looked after me for three weeks (Sydney). Once I was better, I went back to Singapore. Brand new buildings mixed in with old colonial ones. We didn't see much, but will go back again in the future. In the morning, we flew into Mumbai, and then onto Kolkata. We enjoyed Kolkata, especially the goats that got their heads cut off !!! And then we went to Bangladesh, where we expected to see no tourists there, and were quite amazed that there was a tour group there for the cricket. Well, we did expect one, as our mate Andrew was turning up form Western Australia . Dhaka was crowded and polluted, and it was great to ...
