We sat and had breakfast and was attacked by various drivers wanting to take us to the bus station. We were also besieged by agencies wanting to buy the tickets for us, at a cost of course, but they couldn't understand our reasoning why we said no !!! Once there, we bought our tickets, claimed our seats and waited to go. Eventually, the driver came over, started the bus, and we were on our way. It didn't take long before the chuckers started. They were actually a mother and her young daughter of about 3. The mother was using a bag, then the daughter started. First a dribble, followed by the vomit over herself, then her mother and then her head pointed in my direction. I pushed myself as close to Lucy that was physically possible in the small seats we had and it fell terrifyingly short !!! The bus boy came and helped clean it up, passed out some more spew bags, then both the spewers fell asleep. Thank Christ for that !!! A little while later, the bus stopped for a lunch break. The mother cleaned herself and her daughter up, and after we had eaten, we all jumped back onto the bus. Then my worst nightmare happened. Both the mother and daughter were stuffing their faces. Within the hour, they were both spewing again !!! Some people never learn. And after many bends and up and downs, we had arrived at the bus station in Luang Prabang. We were attacked by touts wanting us to stay at their hotels. Everytime I asked for a free ride to their hotel, they said no, so I drooped their cards and arranged my own transport. The tuk tuk driver said 8000, so I filled it for him, and then the price went up. I told him to fuck off and be thankful with what he was getting from us. We all gave him 8000, and then he was on his way. He dropped us off in the centre. Luang Prabang hasn't changed much in 6 years. We walked towards the guesthouses, and we ran into Colin and George. They told us where they were staying, which actually ...
