As usual, we had an early morning bus trip. This time we were heading for a place named Kratie. We were going there as we this would be the last place that we would stay before we headed out of Cambodia and into Laos.

The bus took off, and we were on our way. A couple of hours into the journey, we had a meal break. We were mobbed as we got off of the bus by the street sellers, but at this stop, all the locals were buying shit loads of cooked grasshoppers. Unlike Laos, where you only get five lightly grilled grasshoppers, the Cambodian sellers, fill up a tin can. We watched the locals eat them, they pull off the wings, stick it in their mouth, bite off the end, we don't know which end though, throw it on the ground, and chew like a child who can't stand his/her food. Then, we were back on the road again.

Four hours later, we arrived in Kratie. You can see the Irrawaddy dolphins here, but we didn't see them as we are leaving this for when we get to Laos. There wasn't a lot to do, other than walk around. Half an hour later, we had finished with the highlight being a Westener had a dog, which he tied to a tree, and another dog was trying to root it. This is how exciting this place is !!!

The only other thing that happened was that we had a flash flood in town. Exciting or what !!!

Tomorrow, is a new day. In fact, the last one in Cambodia as we will be crossing into Laos.
