The Royal Palace

After a qick breakfast, we jumped back onto the bus that was going to Phnom Penh. The trip could have been faster if the bus had not been a shitter. Basically, the road was asphalt which was a bit up and down due to the traffic going over it, but our suspension was shot. So, if we got any speed up, the front of the bus would start going up/down, up/down, up/down, and then the driver would slow the bus down as it felt like the front of the bus was going to jump up. The last 42 K's took around 1.5 hours !!!
Once in town, the tuk tuk drivers, the shockers that they are, came out with their usual ridiculous price, so I shot it down, offered a third, and they all laughed. We picked up our bags, and walked out, but within twenty metres, they had come to their senses and they were fighting over us !!! We picked the one we wanted and we made our way back to the ghetto. We didn't want to stay there, but we were meeting Shan again, so there we went. As we jumped out, she was standing there. All the touts wanted our money, but we already knew where we were staying. She came with us, so we dumped our bags and made the decision to go into the city to see the Royal Palace. She had already been, so we went alone.
As we had not taken photos of the Dove from Above before, we did this first. Once done, we walked onwards towards the Palace. In we went. And just like Bangkok's Palace, there is a dress regulation, which, with the way we were dressed, there was no way they would let us in. We did try, but they laughed at us. We went back and told Shan that we would now have to stay another day, before we headed North East, as we did want to see it. Shan went and bought her ticket to leave the lovely PP. I am sure we will see her again.
We had a bit of a sleep in for once and then went and bought our bus tickets to leave the following day. Where we were going, tends to sell out quite fast, so we actually missed out on the
