As we has seen all the sites in Chitters, we decided to take Andrew for a quick visit to Cox's Bazaar. It was meant to have a beach, but according to the LP, Lucy would be unable to wear her bikini, so it seemed like the place to be.
What started out as a little trip for the three of us, moved to eight. Pete, Mel, Bernie, Paul and Tim, all Aussies, decided that they needed to get away as well. The bus took off, and we were down the back, and within the first couple of hours, the spew bags were being used, and not by a local, but by Pete. It was coming out thich and fast, and three bags later, he had finished !!! Not long after, we had arrived. And just like shit to a blanket, the cycle rickshaws mobbed us. We sidestepped around them and found our hotel, complete with pool on the roof. We met ten minutes later and headed off to see some Buddhist monasteries. What a complete fuck up that turned out to be. Five richshaws, convoy style, and there is only one road to go up, and within thirty seconds, ours and Andrew's had lost the other three !!! So we made our way, on our own, and not long after, we found them, only to read a sign that stated that they were closed. Amazingly, the Tacka, the local currency did some talking and we were in. There were no photos allowed, but it was nice to see the images, which had mainly been funded by the Burmese Government. They were also built in the Burmese style. Once back at the hotel, the other three rickshaws eventually arrived back. It seems that their drivers were fuckwits and went somewhere else !!! So it made sense to go to the beack, at least we wouldn't get lost. The three of us set out, as the others went for lunch. Along the way, we crashed a little cricket game. The bat was home made, and the fielding from the locals was crappy. Maybe this is why the Bangers team is so shit !!! The others caught up, and we went for a nice swim in bath water temperature
