Being back in Aus has been fantastic this time. I am sorry if I did not get to see all, but Sydney is not the easiest place to get around without your own car. It was amazing to see how much the city has changed. I was watching a DVD, Oils on the Water, made back in 85, and you can actually see Centre Point Tower !!! Realistically, not much has changed. Yeah there are some new buildings, but Sydney will always be Sydney. Just like Berlin changes everytime we are there, Sydney is still growing.
So, the plan is as follows. Plane to Singapore, stay overnight. Following morning, Singapore to the shithole that is Mumbai. We have a couple of hours to wait, and then we jump onto another plane and we end up in Kolcata. First thing the next morning, we chuck our passports into the Bangladeshi Consulate, and once we have our stamp, Bangers, here we come !!!
It has been fun being here watching the Commonwealth Games from Melbourne, but with the next games being in Delhi, I thought when Johnny Farnham came out to sing, I thought he would have sung "Turn the pressure cooker down" and "Just a touch a touch of curry and rice", just to make the Indians feel like they were at home !!!!! Maybe he might do it in four years time !!!
Whilst walking around Circular Quay one day, we came across an exhibition of bears that had been painted by artists from different parts of the would. So, my photos for this story, represent the countries that I have visited. There are some missing, but they were not there hence the gaps in the numbering system. If you don't get the chance to see them in Sydney, they will be next in Berlin.
And as this is my final story from Australia on this trip, I will leave you with some words from one of my favourite songs.
I'm always travelling, I love being free
So I keep leaving the sun and the sea
But my heart lies waiting over the foam
I still call Australia home
