Interesting Times in Pokhara

It was funny being back in the land of the living, well kind of !!! We went straight to a restaurant and ordered a pizza to celebrate our return. Whilst eating, the power went down in town. We walked back to the same hotel we were in before as they had our bags, and they gave us a room, assuring us a TV when the power came back on. The power came on, we only had half the lights in our room working. Then a knock at the door told us there was no TV. They gave us a discount, and we left it at that. The following morning, I went to have a shower as we were meeting Ryan, Megan and Stuart, and there was no hot water. Lucy went out, and they told me to wait 15 minutes, as we were now running late, I exploded and told them to jam their room up their asses and that they would not be getting the full price. We went out, got breakfast, gave them Sweet FA for the room. As we walked into the centre of town, Lucy scored us a bargain of a room with TV. Much nicer, and with hot water. Also, this time around, we had views of the mountains, including Machhapuchhare. Whilst walking around town, we ran into a Kiwi guy called Simon. He wanted to the Annapurna Circuit, so both Ryan and I went into competition trying to sell our gear to him. I managed to get rid of my pole but Ryan the fucker undercut me on my gaiters. Bastard
The following morning, the six of us, which now included Simon, decided to climb the hill behind the lake to see the Peace Pagoda. As we started the climb, a couple of kids wanted to be our guides, we told them to fuck off, but Ryan decided to hang out with them. Stuart and I lead, and when the kids said we were going the wrong way, we ignored them and went our own way. We ran into some monkeys, and Megan got a bit nervous. Being American, she decided to shoot first and ask questions later. She chucked a rock, even though they were some distance away from us !!! After a fucking age, we made it to the top. Ryan gave the kids some money. They wanted some off of me, so I told them to fuck off. We climbed up to the pagoda, and we got a great view of the whole of Pokhara and the mountains behind. On the way down, we found the correct way down. Realistically, we should have followed the kids, but fuck that !!!
The following morning, we left with Stuart to go to Kathmandu. My stomach was still dodgy, so hopefully, I will get there in one piece
