Well, I thought I was ok. As I went to bed, I felt my stomach all bloated. By god knows what time, I couldn't sleep any longer. My food was resting on my stomach so the only thing to do was to throw up. I did try to fart but nothing happened. Then the food came up, so I went back to bed. The it happened again, so I put a pillow on the floor and sat on the ground throwing up until there was no tomorrow. I felt much better. In the morning, we had breakfast and then we were off. Normally, the walk goes for another couple of days, but as there are Maoists around, and they charge a toll, so we decided to go to Beni instead. The walk kept going down, along single track, and by 11:30, we crossed over our final bridge, and that was the end of the walk. We jumped into and on top of a jeep, which drove for 12 Klms. We were kicked out. We had another jeep to catch, and then 4 Klms later, we arrived in Beni. We bought a ticket, and 6 hours later, we were back in Pokhara, where we had started. The walk had been great. Seeing the Himalayas up close, and crossing over at 5416 metres was amazing. I don't know if I
would do it again, but I met some good people and made some new friends. It is sad to be back in Pokhara, but it was going to happen one day or the other.
