We woke up. The morning was great. Left the room for a morning shit. I went to the toilet. Fuck behind the building. What I don't get though, there is a hole. How hard is it to get shit down a hole !!! Someone had missed !!! We went in and sat with Rhian and Dylan. We tried to eat, but I was now feeling like shit. Thankfully, everyone else was as well. Maybe we were suffering from High Altitude Sickness. We packed up and left. I lead. I went around a corner to take some photos. No one came. The Fathers and Sons from Canberra came around. I was yelling for Lucy. no answer. The group told me that the Aussie girl had collapsed. I went around and it was Rhian. She looked like shit. Dylan said he was taking her back, and that we should go on. On we went. It was hard. The higher we went, the harder it became. Everytime, I saw a stick, I said to Lucy that this is where we are aiming for. Every stick, we would have a break. It was difficult to breathe. We even saw an Exodus guide piggy backing one of hte English girls up. After four hours, we could see the sign that stated we were at the top. 5416 Metres. As I neared the sign. Tears came into my eyes. Then I laughed and then I cried again. It was so emotional. Then the next thought came. It was Mini Me from BT, who is a WW1 head. And all I could think was him, whistles and going over the top of hte trenches ??? Don't really know why, but I was slightly messy up there. We took the regulation photos. Tied our prayer flags up, and attempted to go down. The whole track was snow and ice. I wished I had cramp ons !!! Now I had mentioned brown stain moments before, but this was fucking dangerous. Many times, we both slipped over. Once, onto my back, I started sliding to the edge, and another time, I went onto my stomach. As close as an impending death to me came, I never saw my life flash before my eyes. The track levelled out at one point, and then went straight down a gravel section. This then turned into snow and ice again. After 8 hours of walking, we were down at the bottem of the mountain. We still had another 45 minutes of walking before we got to Muktinath. It was a nice walk, and as Muktinath came into view, a huge temple complex came before us. We walked past it and into town. The first few hotels were shit, and the next one, the Hotel Bob Marley, had a ladyboy, so we settled on the Hotel California. Inside, Marco, Aj, Robin, Douggie and Julie were waiting for us. And to celebrater the occasion of making it over, I had my first beer since the Turkish/Iranian border. We were both fucked, and after dinner, we both died
Breakfast - Porridge
Dinner - Cheese and Vege Pizza, Spring Rolls and washed down with an Everest Beer
