I was feeling a lot better, so we found a minibus and jumped in. Multan was our destination. Home of another bazaar, but also the remains of an old Sikh fort and numerous shrines and one big mosque which the Sikhs used to use themselves.
Once out of the bus, we grabbed a rickshaw, as everyone was saying that the hotel was at least 15 minutes away. We drove for two and was at the hotel. Sleazy fuckers !!! We asked if there was room, but there was none, so we went to another. Knowing that the driver was going to ask for more, I went to see about a room, whilst Lucy played the game of paying the rickshaw. A room was sorted, and Lucy was followed by her friend, demanding more money. I looked at him, took his twenty rupees back and told him to fuck off. He lost it again, waved the twenty, and he reluctantly took it, and then left. Once in the room, there was a TV, so we quickly found the cricket channel and set about watching Aus V The Rest of the World. We were going ok, then a collapse happened, so we decided to go site seeing instead !!! But before we went, we walked to the station and booked our seats for the morning train to Lahore. Once purchased, off we went.
We hit the streets, and stared looking for the shrines that are in the town. They were a long way away from where the map said. How typical of the LP !!! Eventually, we found the start of the bazaar, well, you couldn't really miss it. There was a huge old gate there, so in we went and tried to find our first shrine. Which we couldn't !!! So we moved on. The bazaar was huge. We were walking the the left and right, up and down and didn't seem to be getting anywhere. It was time to ask one of my homies which way to go. As usual, they had no fucking idea, but they did talk a good talk about cricket !!! We finally found a boy, who put us in the right direction, and then we were at the end of the bazaar.
