People

And now we are back in London. It is always a let down to come back here, but then again, England does have its own enjoyable qualities. But what did we learn, from Tunisia. Well, the people were really nice, not in your face like the Moroccans or Egyptians, so it was fun in the souqs, but, it was the hardest country that we have travelled, because the majority of people, when they are not speaking Arabic, they speak French, and I must say, our French is shit !!!!!

Food

The food was great. Half the fun of a new country is trying the food. Harissa - chilli paste. Olives - awesome. Even Lucy enjoyed them. And as the country was settled by the French, the bread and the cakes were excellent.

Purchases

Yes, we bought carpets. Actually four of them. They now go with our Turkish and Moroccan ones. We also bought some bowls and wine. We love Tunisian wine

Finally

It would be great to go back, but it is hard to say when it would be. You should never say never, but the world is a big place and there is so much out there still that we both want to see. So, Iran, here we come. So carpet sellers in Iran, beware, because Uncle Davros and Lucinate are coming your way !!!!!
