Milan in a day

So, we went to Milan for the day. It was not the most exciting place we have been to. The Duomo was covered in scaffold, the view from the top was good though. We could not get into see the Last Supper as it was fully booked out and overall the city was quite dirty. Would I go back, don't know really, but there are far better places in Italy to go to. So please, do not ask me for advice about Milan, be,cause personally, I thought it was a bit of a shithole.
